It would seem like nothing could be better than living on sunny Mediterranean islands. However, after living in Cyprus for several years, David and Eka decided to return to their homeland. They came to Georgia, but instead of their hometown, they decided to settle in Meria.

The young couple and their two little daughters left all the comforts and conveniences to start a new life in a new place. In addition to all the worries of life, they did not forget their main goal: to introduce the residents of the village to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. And the children became the most tangible opportunity to achieve that goal.

One day, all the children in the village received an invitation to the children's program, and surprisingly, the venue was very close: a neighbor's yard. The response to the invitation exceeded expectations. Over 70 children expressed a desire to go and see what the good neighbors had prepared for them as a surprise. The day of the children's program had arrived. The Samaritan team came from Tbilisi, Georgia, especially for the children, and brought lots of games, songs, entertainment, and most importantly, the message of Jesus.

The children were divided into several teams, and each team took turns traveling with their guide, Sammy the airplane. They stopped at different stations and listened to different stories at each station. From the beginning of the journey to the end, they were briefly introduced to the story of salvation, from the creation of the world to the crucifixion. Throughout the journey, the focus was on Jesus and His feats. The children learned that in His person, they had a good, faithful, loving Friend.

It is also important to note that the children came with their parents, who had the opportunity to hear about the organizer of the children's party: the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Before that day, most of them had not heard anything about the church. Now they got a positive impression and were interested; we can say the seeds of truth were sown, and if they get into good soil, in the village of Meria, they have someone to work on the cultivation and harvest.

The children's program, of course, ended with gifts from the Samaritan's Purse organization. Everyone went home happy and satisfied.

For the first time in many years, the message of hope reached the village of Meria, thanks to the hard work and dedication of God's faithful servants.
