Mikhail Fomich Kaminsky began his pastoral ministry in Moldova, then in Moscow as a pastor, head of the Youth Ministry Department of the Euro-Asia Division (ESD). Since 1995, Kaminsky served as secretary of the ESD and secretary of the Pastoral Association. In 2015, he was elected president of the ESD, and in 2022 he was elected to the same ministry.
The ESD of the Seventh-day Adventist Church oversees the church’s work across a vast and diverse territory that includes countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, and other nations of the former Soviet Union.
Headquartered in Moscow, the division supports a wide range of ministries including education, health outreach, media evangelism, and youth programs, often working in complex cultural and political environments. Despite challenges, the division remains committed to sharing the message of hope and wholeness, strengthening local congregations, and expanding mission efforts across both urban centers and remote regions.
