Adventist Agency launched More Love campaign at Christmas in Paraguay

The campaign will benefit the families of Nanawa Chaco.

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency launched the “More Love at Christmas” campaign, an initiative that has the support of the Adventist Solidarity Action - ASA and seeks to promote solidarity during these holidays and encourage donations to help families from Nanawa, Chaco, Paraguay.

ADRA, through the response to the fires in August and October, managed to work with different fire companies, including the Nanawa Company. Some 200 families were registered as being in need, due to shortages of water and the COVID-19 pandemic.

This Christmas, ADRA promoted solidarity through the campaign "More love at Christmas", this initiative aimed to raise funds for the delivery of 12 water tanks of 1000 liters to reach 200 families who do not have access to safe and clean water. In addition, the group held a December 15 holiday for 300 people among girls, boys, and adolescents; who are at risk. 

Donations

By donating U.S. $6.50 (45,000 Guaranis in Paraguayan currency), a family receives adequate and safe access to water; for just U.S. $1.00, (7,000 Guaranis) a Christmas lunch is provided to one person..

All donations were received through the checking account of the Adventist Development and Assistance Resources Agency N ° 700 114 955 of Banco Itaú (RUC: 80024811-2), as well as money orders at 0983 263 314.

In addition, donations of non-perishable food were also received at the ADRA national office.

"More love at Christmas" is an initiative promoted by the Network of Adventist Institutions, led by the Adventist Solidarity Action - ASA ministry. During these weeks churches, schools, sanatoriums, Pathfinder clubs, and congregations will carry out solidarity actions for the benefit of families and communities.
