Through a local Seventh-day Adventist Adventurers Club in Beirut, children and parents from the wider community are finding a place to grow in faith together, opening new doors for family-focused ministry in Lebanon’s capital.
At a recent campout, 82 people, including children, parents, teenage siblings, staff members, and even a few babies, gathered under the theme “Travel with Faith.” Through Bible stories, they explored how Samuel listened and obeyed God, how Abraham followed in faith, and how Naaman was healed through the faith of a young girl. Between games, activities, songs, and worship, the weekend was filled with laughter, learning, and new friendships.
Parents expressed heartfelt appreciation for the impact of the club on their families.
“Truly a wonderful weekend and a wonderful club that I’m so happy my son is part of,” said one parent.
Another added, “Thank you to all the staff for your dedication, drive, and belief. That’s what makes it a beautiful experience for all the children.”
Leaders say the club is not only shaping children’s spiritual lives but also providing support for parents navigating the challenges of raising kids today. Staff work alongside parents during meetings and events, offering encouragement, practical help, and a sense of shared purpose.
One father shared, “Dedication, sacrifice, and faith… thank you so much for the Adventurers Club. It makes a difference not only for our children, but for us parents as well. God bless you all.”
