The Nadăș Youth Center in western Romania hosted its third “Child’s Dream” Camp, welcoming 44 children from disadvantaged backgrounds who are enrolled in ADRA Romania’s “I Want to Go to School!” project.

Organized by ADRA Romania in partnership with the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s Banat Conference, the camp offered participants a week of recreational and educational activities. Children attending came from the Banat and Crișana regions, with their participation based on dedication and performance during the 2024–2025 school year.

Educational and Recreational Activities

The six-day program combined outdoor games, workshops, and creative sessions with opportunities for personal growth. Volunteers and instructors provided guidance, mentorship, and encouragement, while also creating moments of relaxation and fun.

Support came from volunteers across Romania as well as from Rome, Italy, who worked alongside experienced educators and student leaders to organize the activities.

Commitment to Education

The “Child’s Dream” Camp is part of ADRA Romania’s ongoing efforts to promote education and equal opportunities for vulnerable children. Since its launch, the initiative has rewarded school performance and encouraged students to remain engaged in their studies.

ADRA Romania is part of the Adventist Development and Relief Agency, the humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which operates worldwide in education, health, and community development.
