After preparing for this event for over a year, Adventists in Arsenyev participated in a prayer marathon on the eve of the event.

Unlocking the Secrets of Bible Prophecy was the theme of the April 8–15, 2023, evangelistic program in Arsenyev, Primorsky Krai, Russia, conducted by Pastor Lev Ivanovich Bondarchuk, president of the Far Eastern Union, and his wife, Svetlana Vladimirovna.

The local congregation had been preparing for the event for over a year. On the eve of the program, they held a prayer marathon.

Church members posted invitation banners around town and invited their relatives, friends, and acquaintances. The congregation also repeatedly held social events for city residents, offering hairdressing services to anyone who wished and conducting various themed meetings in a friendly atmosphere over a cup of tea. Shortly before the program, the congregation began holding Bible classes on Sundays.

For all the people who came to the house of prayer, the church prayed fervently. Brothers and sisters of the Arsenyev congregation were waiting for the program with special excitement and trembling; then here came the long-expected day. From the first day, new people came to the program, and many of them didn't miss a single day. They were very interested and worried about the Sabbath, whether there is life after death, what God's seal means, and whether there is hope for this world.

A special thank you goes to Vladimirovna for her wonderful "Let's talk about the beautiful!” sessions. Every evening at the beginning of the meeting, together with all those present, she talked about the inner qualities of the human soul that make each person especially beautiful, because beauty without kindness, love, joy, humility, gentleness, and faith dies unfulfilled.

On the last day of the program, there was a baptism. Three people made a covenant with the Lord. Of these, two were new people, and one woman decided to renew her covenant with God. Nine new people attended the program, and some of them were interested in the truth and expressed a desire to study the Bible. Brothers and sisters of this small congregation put a lot of time and effort into preparing this Gospel project. Today, they are very happy and thankful to the Lord for the program in their city and the new people with whom they will study the Word of God!
