With the purpose of strengthening the Adventist identity and consolidating an education with a missionary focus, the Bolivia Union Mission (UB) held the Fifth National Meeting of Adventist Education Managers, held from July 12-15, 2026, on the grounds of the Bolivia Adventist University in Vinto, Cochabamba.
The event brought together more than 200 educational managers from Adventist educational units from across Bolivia. In the Adventist educational system, managers include school principals, treasurers, chaplains, and pedagogical coordinators who lead the administrative, academic, and spiritual management of educational institutions.
Administrators from the four administrative headquarters of the UB also participated, along with international guests from the South American Division (SAD) and the South American Spanish Publishing House (ACES). They shared conferences, workshops, and presentations aimed at strengthening educational leadership and the mission of Adventist Education.

Under the theme "Missionary Identity," the main objective of the meeting was to strengthen the Adventist identity in educational institutions, one of the four strategic priorities of the Adventist Church in South America through 2030.
For four days, participants reflected on the role of education as a ministry that transcends academic teaching to form citizens committed to biblical principles, service, and mission. "Every Adventist educational institution is called to be a center of influence where Christ is the foundation of all teaching, and each student can integrally develop his or her character and purpose in life," said Hugo Valda, president of UB.

One of the key focuses of the meeting was the strengthening and socialization of the Adventist educational model of Bolivia. The model positions the country as a pioneer within the SAD in the development of its own educational model based on the philosophy of Adventist Education.
The educational managers also learned about and analyzed the curricular contents corresponding to the levels of initial, primary, and secondary education, seeking a uniform implementation in all Adventist educational institutions in the country.
This process will allow the consolidation of a pedagogical proposal that integrates academic excellence, spiritual formation, and character development, responding to current educational needs without losing the Christian identity that characterizes Adventist Education.

The program included spaces for training, exchange of experiences, recognition of educational excellence, and moments of spiritual reflection, strengthening the leadership of those who have the responsibility of directing Adventist educational institutions in Bolivia.
The conferences and workshops given by national and international specialists offered tools to face the challenges of educational management from a biblical and innovative perspective, reaffirming the commitment of each institution to quality education and purpose.
