More Than 200 Children in Ecuador Receive Animated Bibles Through Adventist Initiative

Organizers say the initiative supports values-based education and spiritual development.

More than 200 children from the "Children with a Future" Foundation in Ecuador received 234 Animated Bibles as part of an initiative promoted by the Home and Health Educational Service (Servicio Educacional Hogar y Salud -- SEHS) in conjunction with the Seventh-day Adventist Church's Publishing Ministry.

The Bibles were distributed during a special program held at the school that brought together parents, school officials, church leaders, and donors. The event emphasized the importance of values-based education and spiritual development for children and included moments of prayer and expressions of gratitude.

Organizers said the initiative also aimed to strengthen collaboration between entrepreneurs, literature evangelists (colporteurs), and the local community.

Committed institutions

The project was made possible through the coordinated efforts of the Adventist Publishing Ministry, SEHS Ecuador, and literature evangelists who help distribute Adventist publications throughout the region.

According to organizers, literature evangelism not only distributes books but also seeks to promote values and share messages of hope within communities.

The event was attended by leaders of the Home and Health Educational Service in Ecuador, including Carlos Correa, Juan Quinatoa, financial manager of the organization, and Nelson Naula, who oversees the department in southern Ecuador.

Quality literature

During his remarks, Naula emphasized that this donation represents much more than simply giving a book.

“We are placing in each child’s hands a tool for spiritual and moral development that will strengthen their values and provide them with guidance for their future. Furthermore, this project also benefits our young people on the HESED team, who, through the sale of these materials, generate resources that allow them to continue their studies and prepare themselves to better serve society.”

Parents expressed appreciation for the initiative and its potential impact on their children.

“For us as parents, this is a great blessing. We know our children need guidance and firm principles. This Animated Bible captures their attention and motivates them to read and learn. We thank every young person and every donor who made this precious gift possible.”

Organizers say initiatives like this reflect the mission of SEHS to promote education, health, and values through community partnerships and literature distribution.
