For the second year in a row, Granix will provide healthy food for the ARA Libertad training voyage, scheduled to depart in the coming weeks for a six-month journey across the Americas.

The donation includes sweet biscuits, crackers, and cereals, designed to promote a balanced diet during life on board.

During the voyage, the frigate will visit ports in Brazil, the United States, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico, carrying more than 280 crew members. Among them are midshipmen completing the final stage of their training at the Naval Military Academy.

Granix products will be incorporated into daily meals such as breakfasts and snacks, becoming part of the routine for those participating in this training experience.

In addition, missionary books are also being provided as part of the onboard experience.

Lieutenant Commander Vanina Martin, head of Cargo, Services, and Storerooms, highlighted the value of the initiative.

“This support allows us to share healthy items that will be consumed by the unit during breakfasts and snacks, while also bringing Argentine products to international ports,” she said.

The Frigate Libertad has played a central role in naval training for decades. Since its commissioning as a training ship in 1963, it has undertaken numerous training voyages around the world, establishing itself as a symbol of learning, discipline, and national representation in the various ports it visits.

Leaders said the initiative represents an opportunity to support both the physical and personal development of participants while sharing values related to health and well-being.

They added that through everyday routines onboard, such contributions help reinforce habits and perspectives that extend beyond the duration of the voyage.
