Adventist Media Productions Named in "Class of 2002"

The world's leading magazine for the professional recording and sound production industry recently named Adventist Media Productions in Simi Valley, California, United States, as part of the "Class of 2002."

The world’s leading magazine for the professional recording and sound production industry recently named Adventist Media Productions in Simi Valley, California, United States, as part of the “Class of 2002.” MIX magazine picks the best new recording studios each year, and AMP, which opened in February this year was chosen as one of its 16 best for this year.

AMP, the primary electronic media production unit of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America, has the responsibility of producing radio and television programming for five different ministries of the church: It Is Written, Voice Of Prophecy, Breath of Life, Faith For Today and La Voz de la Esperanza. AMP also produces programming for Adventist Communication Network and Adventist Television Network, and handles the production and creative needs of hundreds of commercials, public service announcements, and church-related instructional, educational and promotional videos.

AMP is part of the Adventist Media Center, which began in 1974. Originally located in Newbury Park, California, AMC moved to an office complex in Simi Valley in late 1995. Today AMC houses AMP—a state-of-the-art production facility with two television studios, six video edit bays, and three digital sound studios.
