Operation Food for Life’s Kivori Learning Centre in Papua New Guinea recently held its annual graduation day for up to 300 students.
The learning center has made an incredible impact on the lives of the children, who were mostly illiterate and could not speak English when they first enrolled. The students wore graduation gowns, making it a very special day for each one.
Dennis Perry, Operation Food for Life ministry founder, said the learning center is more than just a school. “Our curriculum includes teaching all the children how to sew and grow fruit[s] and vegetables in our garden, so it provides a life skill they can take forward. But above all, our mission is to educate the students for eternity. Today, they are all prepared for their biggest graduation when, through God’s amazing grace, they graduate to heaven. The students leave our learning center with a BA (Born Again)!”
