Seventh-day Adventist world church president, Pastor Jan Paulsen, will meet with 30 students and young professionals in New York City on March 29 for another broadcast in the "Let's Talk" series. Pastor Paulsen's youth initiative features live, unscripted

Seventh-day Adventist world church president, Pastor Jan Paulsen, will meet with 30 students and young professionals in New York City on March 29 for another broadcast in the “Let’s Talk” series. Pastor Paulsen’s youth initiative features live, unscripted, unedited conversations with young people focusing on their questions, concerns and hopes.

Bryan Collick, 27, will host Let’s Talk NYC, the 15th conversation in the broadcast series. “Let’s Talk New York City is important because an overwhelming majority of the world’s population live in urban areas,” Collick says.

“It’s great that Pastor Paulsen is talking to the church right in the heart of one of the world’s largest cities, and it’s refreshing to see the leader of the Adventist church not only speaking to young people, but connecting with all demographics through these open conversations.”

Along with the regular broadcast of Let’s Talk NYC, Adventist filmmaker Paul Kim will record a documentary on the Let’s Talk series and its impact on young people in the church. “Let’s Talk: Behind the Scenes is an honest look at one of the most important youth and young adult initiatives undertaken by a major leader of our denomination in recent history,” says Kim.

“Let’s Talk is far more than the latest church program or evangelistic initiative; it’s about the concerns we have as a community,” he adds.

Let’s Talk NYC can be seen live on the Hope Channel or on the Internet at www.hopetv.org. For more information and broadcast schedules see the Let’s Talk Web site, www.letstalk.adventist.org, or the Hope Channel Web site.
