Pastors from across the West Siberian Mission gathered in Tyumen for a Field School of Evangelism, a training program focused on strengthening local church ministry and outreach. The event, held at the mission’s center, brought together key leaders, including Mikhail Kaminsky, president of the Euro-Asia Division (ESD), Roman Kisakov, director of Youth and Education Ministries at ESD, and Moisey Ostrovsky, president of the East Russian Union Mission, who was accompanied by his wife, Nina Ostrovsky, head of the Prayer Ministry.

Equipping Leaders for Effective Evangelism
The Field School focused on the GROWTH evangelism strategy, which outlines five stages of church ministry as demonstrated in Jesus’ teachings: preparing the soil, sowing the seed, nurturing growth, reaping the harvest, and preserving the results. Throughout the training, pastors presented updates on evangelistic efforts within their communities, sharing experiences and best practices in gospel outreach. The event provided an opportunity for mutual learning, encouragement, and spiritual renewal, strengthening collaboration among church leaders.
In addition to pastoral training, young people involved in the "A Year in Ministry" initiative participated, sharing testimonies of their work in Tyumen. The involvement of young missionaries in the program underscored the importance of engaging new generations in evangelistic efforts and the impact they have already made since the project's launch.

Evening Gospel Series: “Prayer Moves the Hand of the Almighty”
Each evening, attendees participated in an evangelistic program titled “Prayer Moves the Hand of the Almighty.” The series featured a combination of health, psychology, prayer, and biblical teachings, designed to engage both church members and visitors. Mikhail Kaminsky led a 10-minute segment on health, followed by Roman Kisakov, who presented on mental well-being and psychology. Nina Ostrovsky shared insights on prayer, offering personal testimonies of answered prayers, while Moisey Ostrovsky concluded each session with a sermon.
The program was well attended, with the hall filled each evening as participants engaged with the practical and spiritually enriching topics. Despite the comprehensive nature of the sessions, the meetings were designed to be concise and impactful, lasting no more than 1 hour and 20 minutes.

A Commitment to Evangelism and Baptism
The Field School left participants inspired and equipped to advance the mission in their communities. The training reinforced the importance of Bible study programs, personal evangelism, and active church involvement in reaching new people with the gospel message.
The program concluded with a baptism, as individuals made their public commitment to Christ. Additionally, about a dozen more people responded to the call to prepare for baptism in the future, reflecting the ongoing impact of the event’s message.
