Students at Papua New Guinea University of Natural Resources and Environment were grateful for the donation of 100 copies of the book Calvary to Pentecost, by Dr. Peter Roennfeldt, on August 19, 2023.

It is a first for the university to receive such resources. Senior student Mark Kaweda said the story of Calvary to Pentecost will encourage students and staff to be witnesses for their faith at the university. He said government institutions find it hard to access materials like this.

Tony Akuri, a spiritual leader of a singing group, said the book will encourage his members to continue to do Discovery Bible Reading as well as sing.

Pastor Garry Laukei, university chaplain, thanked Dr. Roennfeldt for providing the books to assist students and staff in Discovery Bible Reading. He said the books were timely as the university is preparing for the PNG for Christ evangelistic series in 2024.
