In Esik and Almaty, Kazakhstan, a camp for children and adolescents called "The world in which I live" was held.

"This is the inheritance from the Lord: children ..." (Psalm 126: 3). Ellen G. White echoes these words: “Children are the inheritance of the Lord, and we are accountable to Him for managing His inheritance ...” (Christian Home, ch. 23, pp. 160-161.)

Childhood is the brightest and most unforgettable time in the life of every person. When children feel love and care from us adults, they open like flowers in the sun. Grown people should remember that they are guides to the Creator. And when He appears, we would very much like us to appear before Him, leading the saved children with us, joyfully exclaiming: “Here I am and the children whom the Lord gave me” (Isa. 8:18).

During the autumn holidays - November 9, 10, and 11, the Almaty community gave a gift to children and adolescents, giving them the opportunity to relax in the Family Recreation Center in the protected area of the city of Esik, located at the foot of the Zailiyskiy Alatau ridge on the mountain river of the same name, 53 km east of the city of Almaty. The children spent three wonderful days playing in the fresh air, eating fine food lovingly prepared by the chefs, trekking up the mountain river, and taking an active part in cleaning up the litter along the river bank. In the evening, when all tired and happy gathered in the camp, the children were asked: "What feelings did you experience when you saw a lot of garbage left by people on the banks of the river?" All as one expressed concern for the future of the planet. They expressed their firm intention never to do so, and moreover,

During the days of the camp, the children had a great opportunity to visit the archeological museum of the "Golden Man", where the children learned a lot of interesting information about the ancient people who once lived on these lands and left so many artifacts that are still of interest. For example, ancient burials in the form of barrows still keep secrets, and one of them was discovered by Kazakhstani archaeologists in 1970. In a mound, 6 meters high and 60 meters in diameter, the remains of a Saka warrior in a golden suit and a high headdress were found. Over 4,000 gold buckles, shields, and plates, as well as jewelry, weapons, and various vessels were found in an untouched tomb. The guys learned that the deceased warrior was very young and belonged to the royal family. This is how an interest in history arises in children's hearts. In our classes, we were also engaged in compiling the chronology of the descendants of Adam before Noah and saw that Adam had the opportunity to communicate with the descendants of eight tribes. And they learned the name of the person who lived on Earth the longest - Methuselah, Noah's grandfather.

Among the resting children were pathfinders and adventurers of the Almaty club "Edelweiss". Two specializations were carried out with them. During the Rainbow of the Covenant specialization, children learned how the Lord revealed the Gospel in the rainbow, and every time people see its multicolored colors, they can “read” an important message in it: “I washed you with My Blood from sin” (red); “I gave myself as a sacrifice for you” (orange); “I found you in this world” (yellow); “I have loved you with an everlasting love” (green); “Receive baptism in my name” (blue); “I will always be with you until the end of the century” (blue); “I give you hope of salvation” (purple).

On the second specialization "Environmental Protector" children learned that in Kazakhstan many species of animals, birds, fish, plants are endangered.. During the discussion, the guys reflected on what, in their opinion, are the reasons for the extinction of many species, and what part they can play in making the life of animals on earth better. Of course, it was not without crafts, because this is an integral part of the child's nature - to create with your own hands!

And in the city of Almaty, on November 12 and 13, 2020, on the basis of the Central Church, meetings with teenagers of 13-16 years old were held.

Perhaps the most difficult and hectic period of life is adolescence. At this age, doubts, hesitation, and uncertainties awaken. If adolescents are not given the necessary attention and nurture, they may never become fully mature adults. Young boys and young girls are very different, and, during this camp, the task of educators and leaders of the children's and youth departments was to help parents navigate finding common ground with their children, while showing them patience and love.

As always, professionals come to the rescue: Svetlana Sultanova, Director of the YUM Health Department, had an excellent conversation, explaining to the children the importance of a night's rest. Choosing the right lifestyle at the right time is the starting point! Having firm, solid principles and adhering to a new, adult, responsible way of life, you can live your life enjoying every day of it.

The second day of communication was devoted to the relationship of the sexes, and we titled it: "What if this is not love?" It is no secret - at this age, self-determination, first love, complex conflicts, and even a life crisis occur. Step by step, the child grows up and becomes responsible. Society begins to make demands on him. The teenager learns to manage his seething energy - physical and emotional. Having suggested the right path now, sexuality will become a source of joy and satisfaction. Then the teenager will begin to understand that it is unreasonable to do something simply because “everyone does it”. An understanding comes that one should manage one's behavior on the basis of solid principles based on clear and accurate information. A young married couple, Lolita and Vyacheslav Anisimov, had intimate conversations with young girls and boys separately,

For children of this age, the camp is an amazing, unforgettable pastime in the circle of their peers. This is a conducive environment for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit into their tender hearts. Here they share their vision of knowing God, learn the lessons of independence, learn to show concern, acquire communication skills, and have the opportunity to open up as a person.
