A festive service in honor of the dedication of the renovated house of worship and the harvest festival were held in the community of Timashevsk.
On Sabbath, October 8, a special service in was held, which was a joyful event in the life of the local community for two reasons: a harvest festival and a church dedication.
The event was especially anticipated, since for a long five years, the local church had been diligently and persistently carrying out repair and construction work. They repaired the church building, and improved the yard and its surrounding areas.
On this special Sabbath, the church welcomed many guests. Musicians and singers from Krasnodar congregations came to the celebration, as did pastors who used to minister in Timashevsk. Leaders from the Kuban-Black Sea Association, including the president of KCW, Andrei Kachalaba, dedicated the newly renovated church building to the work of God. There was a lot of spiritual reflection, singing, and praising the Lord.
The service’s focus was, "We are grateful to God for all our material and spiritual gifts throughout the year, and we want to dedicate everything we have to serve Him.” As Kachalaba noted in his remarks to the church, "First and foremost, we dedicate ourselves, our hearts, to the service of God, and the church building and all the material belong to God.”
The entire worship service was held in a solemn atmosphere. The hall was decorated with the fruits of this year's harvest, which all pointed back to God's abundant blessings.
