In the second week of October 2025, the Bangladesh Adventist Union Mission (BAUM) coordinated the Orphan and Vulnerable Children program in both the South Bangladesh Mission and the West Bangladesh Mission, regional headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Bangladesh. The initiative highlighted that every child is a "precious gift from God and deserving of steadfast love, care, and support," leaders said.
Throughout the program, the team spent time with the children, engaging in conversation, listening to their stories, playing with them, and seeking to understand their needs more deeply. A message of God’s abiding presence and unconditional love was shared, offering comfort and assurance to the young attendees.
As a token of care, organizers shared small gifts with the children, who responded with appreciation. Even after the formal program concluded, the volunteers continued to engage with the children in play and conversation.
One participant reflected, “The entire day was inspiring and filled with happiness. Truly, it was a blessed day, overflowing with God’s presence and joy.”
The Bangladesh Union Mission stated that it will continue to care for these children and plans to hold similar programs in the East Bangladesh Mission and the North Bangladesh Mission, inviting the children to future events.
