Carlos Roa, a renowned Argentinian international goalkeeper, refused a lucrative contract offered to him by Manchester United soccer team, according to reports in the British press. He could not accept the contract that would encroach on his Sabbath keeping. As a Seventh-day Adventist he does not play on Saturdays. Currently playing with Real Mallorca on a non-contract basis, Roa said: “God is worth more than 10 million dollars.”
