With unspeakable joy, Vailoa Saoluafata Seventh-day Adventist Church members witnessed 11 young people enter the watery grave of baptism on August 9 and dedicate their lives to Christ.

The baptism marked the end of a two-week evangelistic meeting themed “Truth for These Times,” which ran from July 27 to August 9. The meetings were organized by young people as part of Samoa’s focus on Total Member Involvement and the Trans-Pacific Union Mission’s Harvest month.

Pastor Orion Savea officiated the baptism on Sabbath. “The 11 that were baptized were mostly youth, including two couples and they were all new converts,” he said. “God is pouring out His spirit on His people to share the message in these last days.
