Evangelist Alejandro Bullón is speaking live, via satellite from Belém, to people gathered at thousands of churches, auditoriums and residences in Brazil during a week-long series of meetings that started October 7. The evangelistic event is entitled “Week of Harvest” and is sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Brazil and South America. It relies on the involvement and commitment of local churches, say event organizers. Since August 5, churches and evangelistic “small groups” throughout South America have been giving Bible studies to individuals in preparation for the satellite meetings.

Pastor Jonas Arrais, a leader of evangelism in South America, has urged all church members and pastors to be involved in the outreach event.
