On Thursday, April 25, 2024, after months of preparation and hard work, the first episode of the youth program's second season, "Comunidad 3:16," (Community 3:16) was successfully broadcast from the Red Nuevo Tiempo studios in Chile.

During the hour and a half of live broadcast, the channel's youngest audience enjoyed contests, music, special guests, pleasant conversations, and a special encounter with God.

Ángela Arias, communication coordinator at Nuevo Tiempo Chile, mentioned: “We are happy. Finally, we begin with this second season of Community 3:16, with the objective that our young people, our adolescents, understand issues about anxiety, stress, depression, music, and around the Word of God."

“There is a team behind it that prepared to make this a reality, in the technical area, lights, lighting, camera movements, rehearsals, so well, happy to have made this product a reality with a lot of love, with a lot of affection for our audience,” Arias concluded.

The team behind this space spent months preparing to deliver a quality program that would be a blessing to the audience.

“[I'm] very happy to have participated in the first Community 3:16 program as the director of the program; the truth is that it was very nice; I loved how everything turned out; we were preparing well in advance, and the truth is that the final product was very pleasant. We are very happy waiting for more to come, to be able to see us. Invite everyone to always see us on Nuevo Tiempo Chile and be attentive to the next programs that are coming up very good,” invited Carlos Parra, director of the program.

Valentina, Samuel, Belén, and Alfredo were in charge of bringing the program to life and seek to represent each young person who tunes in to Nuevo Tiempo. They took on the challenge of driving with great enthusiasm and also expressed their joy at participating in this beautiful project.

“The truth is that I felt very calm, the same at the beginning, obviously, as it was the first time I was in front of cameras and the whole team. I was a little nervous, but then as we started talking to the kids, Primera Fe arrived. We also spoke with Michelle; we were able to discuss the issue. It felt like I was in a small group, there with everyone like in a little house, so everything was super calm. We enjoyed it, and also, by interacting with the viewers, we learned a lot,” said Valentina Recabarren, the main host of the program.

Samuel Sandoval, a panelist of the program, said: “I felt good, really calm, happy for everything we did here with the team; it was a really entertaining first episode and also a very interesting topic like anxiety.”

Talking about Anxiety

The first episode of the show focused on mental health, with anxiety as the central topic of discussion. Michelly Lima, psychologist at the Adventist University of Chile, was invited as a specialist guest to help resolve doubts, clarify concepts, and provide tools to deal with anxiety when it becomes a part of one's daily life.

Lima commented: “It is a joy to participate in a program that talks about an issue as important as anxiety, which affects so many people and deprives us of so many things in our social and work life. I think this is a program that encourages us to release our anxiety on the Lord. We should not be afraid to seek all the other help we may need.”

The musical duo Primera Fe, special guests of this first chapter, were able to witness the program as they sang several of their songs which deliver a message of faith and love in Christ.

“Well, we are very, very happy to have participated in this first episode of the second season of Comunidad 3:16. The truth is we had an incredible time. We love this program. We had already been in the first season and again we enjoyed it very much. It was a great blessing for us. We also sang our new song, “God of Promises," which is very related to what the episode was talking about,” expressed the Adventist singers Gustavo Alarcón and Mónica Castro from the Primera Fe musical ministry.

The program provides a platform for dialogue, amusement and education, which is not only intended for young people but for everyone who seeks a moment of entertainment, with meaningful information and a chance to connect with the Lord.
