The novel coronavirus pandemic and subsequent isolation regimen have become a challenge for the whole world, including the Kavkaz Nadezhda studio, which is preparing live broadcasts of the “Pray for Me” program for the Nadezhda TV channel. But, as you know, a crisis is also a time of opportunities, and the project team, with God's help, decided to use these opportunities, expanding the formats and methods of their broadcasting.

During this time, the team once again became convinced that nothing is impossible for God, and isolation was not a reason to stop ministering, but an impetus for a breakthrough and the creation of relevant content.

As they entered the first days of shelter-in-place, the administration of the “Pray For Me” project decided to conduct a live broadcast not once a week, but twice. Throughout April, the program aired as usual on Wednesdays, and additionally on Fridays. Of course, the world’s new reality changed the format; inviting guests onto the show as they used to do was now impossible, so the team saturated the show with new stories and examples from the world of painting and literature, hoping for a positive response from the audience. But the most important change in the framework of the program was that everyone involved began to pray even more, because prayer requests have increased significantly.

Today, “Pray For Me” has new plans. Despite ongoing isolation, it is important that people continue to share their prayer experiences. Anyone can become a guest on the show, as long as they have access to a smartphone and are at least a little comfortable using it.

In addition, the project “Pray For Me” was launched in a new format on Instagram. Every day at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., like a morning and evening service, Pray For Me unites in prayer people living in different parts of the world. Modern technology allows the team to expand the possibilities of having different guests from around the world on the broadcast, and the project leader offers prayers to God.

During this time, the audience of “Pray For Me” on Instagram has grown significantly. Many people, having learned about the daily morning and evening prayers on the network, have begun to follow the account. From 30 to 60 people gather regularly for each prayer meeting, though there were times when the audience totaled 120 participants.

The live broadcast guests are not only leading preachers who present perspectives on the Word of God, but also people who are ready to share their prayer experiences.

For example, after learning about “Pray For Me” from a friend, a woman began to watch the live broadcasts and requested prayer for her aunt and uncle, who had both been battling COVID-19.

Sometime later, she saw the answer to her prayer, as her  relatives began to show signs of recovery and were eventually discharged from the hospital. The girl thanks God and is happy she learned about “Pray For Me.”

“Thank you very much for these live prayer shows,” one viewer wrote. “They broadcast at 1 a.m. in my time zone, so I stay up and wait for them every day to join you and pray together. After prayers, I feel calm in my soul; I feel the joy of communicating with Christ. Before that, my prayers were just questions or repeated phrases. Your program greatly influenced my quality of prayer and my desire to pray. Thank you!"

Many viewers note that prayer meetings are not in vain, while others say that, thanks to God and Pray For Me, they began to pray, keep the Sabbath day holy, and completely changed their lifestyle.

The “Pray For Me” project team thanks their brothers and sisters in Christ for their support in prayer and invites everyone to join the broadcasts on the Nadezhda channel, Instagram (@pomoliteszamenya), and at youtube.com/c/CaucasusHope.
