After a legal and administrative process that took eight months, the management of Nuevo Tiempo Perú signed the final acquisition of 103.3 FM as its new radio station for Lima, the nation’s capital. The station will be able to reach more than 10 million Peruvians.

The act, which marks a historic event, took place in one of the notary's offices in Miraflores (a district of Lima), in the presence of legal representatives, the seller, and the buyer. This meant the total transfer of the frequency modulation from Radio Unión to Radio Nuevo Tiempo Perú.

"We are sure that God was behind this great dream. It is incredible how everything has been resolved along the way, and now it is a reality … we can only say, ‘Thank you Lord,’" commented Pastor Remberto Sarzuri, general director of Nuevo Tiempo Perú.

"La Voz de la Esperanza" is already heard throughout the city, but it has brought with it new challenges. "The audience in Lima is more demanding, so we have made some changes in our programming, and by 2023, we will have more news," said Samuel Saito, director of Radio Nuevo Tiempo Perú.

The range of the 103.3 FM signal not only covers Metropolitan Lima. In the south of Lima, it extends to the district of Asia; in the north, to Huaral, Chancay, and near Huacho; and in the east, to the district of Matucana.

The collaborators and listeners did not fail to show their joy and gratitude to God. In several cases, they showed it with tears. From those moments, incredible testimonies were heard, such as that of Grabriela, a young woman from the district of Chorrillos, who said, "Four days ago, I heard a praise that reminded me of my childhood. I am far away from the church, but I want to go back."

Another testimony is that of Maria (her name has been altered to hide her identity), who commented, "This is the first time I have listened to you, and I am grateful that you strengthen us. I am in a prison, locked up. Pray for my daughters." To these stories, the former owner of the acquired radio station remarked, "I like the programming of Radio Nuevo Tiempo, and I listen to it since dawn … how [did it] not exist before?"

For the fulfillment of this 25-year dream, it took the efforts of the Adventist Church and its institutions in Peru and South America, as well as the significant contribution of Adventist World Radio. In addition, on July 23, 2022, thousands of church members and listeners made an offering for this purpose.
