Providing "well-trained spiritual ministers" to China is one of the greatest challenges for the Adventist Church in the region

P. D. Chun, president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in northern Asia, has reported that providing “well-trained spiritual ministers” to China is one of the greatest challenges for the Adventist Church in the region.  “There are only about 60 ordained ministers who are serving more than 2,600 congregations,” Chun said.  Chun’s comments came during the annual year-end meeting of church leaders in the area, where delegates hear reports, elect personnel, and care for the business of the church.
