Today, Pastor Ted Wilson, president of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church, concludes an evangelistic series with a powerful message of Jesus’ second coming, highlighting the event described in the Bible as literal, visible, audible, glorious, and climactic. Speaking online via Zoom, Pastor Wilson directed the thousands of online viewers and the hundreds in attendance at the Philippine International Church to believe the Bible as the Word of God. “If it’s in the Bible, I believe it. If it’s not in the Bible, it’s not for me. Let’s take the Bible as it reads,” Pastor Wilson expounded.

After the sermon, large-scale baptisms followed at different sites all over the North Philippine Union territory. A total of 147 precious souls were baptized at the Adventist University of the Philippines swimming pool, and approximately 6,000 more were baptized from NPUC’s missions and conferences as a result of the simultaneous evangelism conducted in 110 sites, as confirmed by Pastor Jose Zabat, NPUC evangelism coordinator.

The Adventist Church in the NPUC territory organized this evangelistic series, called “Earth’s Final Countdown,” in collaboration with AWR 360 and Hope Channel. Dwayne Mckey, president of Adventist World Radio, teamed up with Pastor Wilson in the last week of the series. Church leaders from the Southern Asia-Pacific Division and North Philippine Union Mission were present during the event at AUP.
