Over 20 People Baptized in Moscow

On Sabbath, June 17, 2023, a general quarterly baptism took place at the Seventh-day Adventist Church on Nagatinskaya in Moscow, Russia. A covenant with God was made by 17 people from eight communities of the Moscow Conference.

Five people from Tushino are the fruits of the Gospel program conducted this past in said community by Boris Protasevich, president of Zaoksky Adventist University (ZAU). Many of those who were baptized are young people who grew up in the church. There are several people who got acquainted with the teachings of the Adventist Church on the internet, watched broadcasts and videos for several months, and afterward, decided to join the church. One of the sisters attended the Mark Finley program in Moscow more than 30 years ago, and the decision to enter into a covenant with God was made at this time.

On Sunday, June 18, the feast of baptism was held in the Rodnik community in the city of Mytishchi. Four people made a covenant with God. The community rented a recreation area in one of the parks for the day. Half of the 80 who were present at the baptism were not Adventists but rather invited relatives and friends. It turned out that the feast of baptism also became a one-day Gospel program. Last year, the Rodnik community decided to hold a baptism every quarter. The Lord has blessed their resolve, and there are already those who are preparing to be baptized this fall.
