Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay, the Spanish Christian TV channel and radio station for Central and South America, has joined the regional launch of a new audio Bible course titled The God Who Speaks. Designed specifically for individuals who are visually impaired, have reading or writing difficulties, or prefer to engage with Scripture through listening, the course aims to make Bible study more accessible.

The course is guided by Esperanza, Nuevo Tiempo’s virtual Bible instructor, who has already accompanied thousands on their spiritual journey. Esperanza leads participants step-by-step through the Bible study using audio messages and interactive prompts.

Community Outreach in Asunción

To mark the launch, the Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay team left their studio to visit key locations in Asunción, delivering the Bible course directly to communities with special needs.

The first visit took place on June 14, 2025, at the Stella Goiburú Center for Rehabilitation and Support for Educational Inclusion for People with Visual Impairments. There, youth and adults who are blind or have low vision were introduced to the course and engaged with its interactive components.

“This method of study will help us greatly to learn more about God, the Bible, and to complete our devotionals. It's very interactive: in addition to listening to the course, you can also respond,” said Cristian Domínguez, a member of the Stella Goiburú community. “My hope is that, like me, my classmates will come to know the Lord in every possible way.”

Derlis Cáceres, a teacher in the center’s Inclusion Support program, added: “I recommend everyone study with Esperanza. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It's very easy to use, and you can continue learning with Nuevo Tiempo.”

Promoting Hope and Inclusion

The second stop was School No. 3 Don Luis Braille, which serves children and adolescents with visual and multiple disabilities. During the visit, the Nuevo Tiempo team presented the radio station’s broader mission and introduced The God Who Speaks course.

María Silvia Salcedo, the school’s director, expressed appreciation for the initiative. “In our educational community, we try to integrate all areas, which is why we find this proposal very interesting. The topics are extremely important, so we'll delve deeper and learn more little by little.”

Making the Word of God Accessible

Following the visits, teachers, students, and parents expressed gratitude for the effort to bring Scripture to those who might otherwise face barriers to studying it. With Esperanza’s guidance, more individuals in Paraguay can now explore the Bible in a way that is simple, engaging, and accessible—through listening.
