Radio Nuevo Tiempo Paraguay celebrated 20 years of sharing hope in the country and celebrated with a caravan to inaugurate new radio towers in the cities of Saltos del Guairá and Pedro Juan Caballero, in addition to the re-inauguration in Yguazú. From November 26 to 28, 2024, the Nuevo Tiempo team in Paraguay traveled through these cities, together with international guests, presenting the gospel message with a special program that led 11 people to baptism.

Joel Flores, Nuevo Tiempo evangelist and host of the program Hablar con Dios (Speaking with God), and Tomas Parra, director of Radio Nuevo Tiempo for all of South America, came from Brazil to participate in the inaugurations and preach during the program. They were also accompanied by Benjamín Belmonte, president of the Adventist Church in Paraguay, and by the international singer Danny Pires. They stressed the importance of working together to fulfill the mission.

"This week has been very special. In every place we went, everyone welcomed us very well and expressed the joy of having a radio that talks about spiritual topics, shares different music, and where if I am discouraged, I can turn to for hope," said Parra. He also added that "all these achievements were possible thanks to the donations from Angels of Hope and friends from the Seventh-day Adventist Church so that we could continue moving forward and reaching more hearts through the Word of God."

A Special Celebration

The highlight of the celebration took place on Saturday, November 30. On that day, over 500 radio listeners gathered at the Nobile Excelsior Hotel in Asunción to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Nuevo Tiempo in Paraguay alongside their favorite announcers and preachers.

"How wonderful it is to return to a warm land, where people express their affection and love, but above all, where God continues to work in the heart of each listener who hears the Word of God through Nuevo Tiempo. Only gratitude to God for seeing how Nuevo Tiempo has an important place in the hearts of people and the impact it has on them," commented Flores.

During the program, international singer Laura Siderac and the Nuevo Tiempo worship team sang, along with listeners, the most listened-to songs on the radio.

Participation of the Nuevo Tiempo Bible School

The Nuevo Tiempo Bible School, a department that promotes Bible study through printed and virtual guides distributed free of charge, celebrated the graduation of the students who completed the "Easy Bible Daniel" course. Several of these students, who spent months developing the Bible study, gave their lives to Christ during the celebration of the anniversary of Nuevo Tiempo.

To make the inauguration of the new radio towers a reality, Adventist World Radio (AWR), the South American Division, and the Adventist Church in Paraguay joined together to continue sharing Christ through the radio station of hope.

"I want to invite all of our Angels of Hope and our listeners to remain firm in the ways of the Lord, because Christ will not be long in coming. And through your commitment to Radio Nuevo Tiempo, many more people will be able to hear this great news," said Samuel Arce, director of Radio Nuevo Tiempo in Paraguay.
