The signal of TV Nuevo Tiempo, a channel with Novo Tempo's programs in Spanish, entered the broadcast service of DirecTV, one of the main pay TV operators in South America, on September 30. Now, with the expansion, the programming of the channel of gospel hope should reach more than 4.3 million families in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay, among other countries.

Currently, Novo Tempo is present in all pay TV operators in Brazil. Likewise, in the Spanish-speaking countries of South America, Nuevo Tiempo has been working to expand its signal and reach more and more people. "Being on DirecTV is a long-time dream that has now come true," celebrates Tomás Parra, assistant director for Nuevo Tiempo and director of the radio network.

Nuevo Tiempo's growth also covers the channel's content. The station recently went through a reformulation in its programming schedule, bringing news to the public. "We are producing new programs and seeking partnerships in various parts of the world to build relevant and quality programming," says Adriano Luz, director of TV.

Growing Network

Besides television, the expansion throughout South America has been seen in the growth of the radio network. "We will soon have a radio station in Lima, Peru, to bring hope to more than 10 million people," says Parra. "This year, we will still have new radio stations in other countries and the inauguration of open-channel television in more cities in Bolivia."

The entrance into DirecTV represents an important advance for Nuevo Tiempo to reach a new audience of people who only watch pay TV. However, Pastor Antonio Tostes, the general director of Rede Novo Tempo de Comunicação, explains that there is still a lot of work ahead. "We will keep making new contacts and investments so that TV Nuevo Tiempo can expand its signal in all the countries where we are present in South America," he promises. "TV Nuevo Tiempo has reached many people, fulfilling its mission of bringing peace, hope, and the Word of God."
