Conducted by Pastor Victor Bejota, the second NT Play Week promises a journey of self-knowledge.
A Seventh-day Adventist network based in Brazil has begun an online “week of prayer” conducted via Instagram and YouTube. Presented in Portuguese and Spanish, the series aims to reach younger viewers across the continent.
Called “NTPlayWeek 2.0,” the series theme is, “Who I have always been and did not know,” focusing on essential themes for the life for young Christians. The main objective is to work on the question of identity, showing the participants that everyone is a child of God and has a role to play on earth. Included topics are: identity, grace, Christlikeness, discipleship, and the Kingdom of God. At the end of the week, new study groups will be launched for those interested in getting deeper into the subject.
“Today, more than ever, we see the importance and need for the Church to talk to young peoplet. These are difficult times and NT Play, in a light format, but without losing focus on the mission, believes this is the moment to join forces in the same objective, which is to present grace and bring encouragement and hope to those in need,” said Geyvison Ludugério, manager of Web NT.
NT PLAY WEEK |
The “NTPlayWeek” project began in 2019. Presented by Pastor Web Victor Bejota, it was created to be a week of prayer on NT Play's Instagram. Broadcast at 5 am, the first version gathered over 800 people watching simultaneously over seven days.
“It was a blessing to be ahead of such an innovative event, people saw live as a daily challenge to wake up early, take care of their health and maintain communion with God for the rest of the day,” Bejota said. As a result of the 2019 campaign, the Online Bible School received more than 300 requests for study and, currently, there is a group of 35 students who are now assistants, ready to put discipleship into practice online.
