Northern France Adventist Leaders Prepare for OneVoice27

Gathered near Paris on October 11, 2026, more than 450 Adventist leaders took part in the Ma Vie Fédérale event to explore how local churches can prepare for One Voice 27, a global initiative that places Jesus Christ at the heart of mission and discipleship in the lead-up to 2027.

Gathered in Bagnolet, near Paris, more than 450 Adventist leaders reflected on how local churches can deepen discipleship, strengthen their outreach to spiritual seekers, and prepare for One Voice 27, a global initiative centered on Jesus Christ in the lead-up to 2027.

The event, organized by the Northern France Conference during its annual Ma Vie Fédérale gathering, brought together pastors, local church elders, ministry leaders, and volunteers from across the region. Participants spent the day reflecting on practical ways to deepen spiritual life, strengthen local church engagement, and prepare members to share the gospel within their communities.

One Voice 27 is a worldwide Adventist initiative that seeks to unite church members around the life and ministry of Jesus. The project looks toward 2027, a symbolic milestone marking approximately 2,000 years since Christ's baptism and the beginning of His public ministry. Throughout the world church, members are being invited to focus on personal revival, community engagement, and gospel outreach.

A Mission That Begins With Jesus

During the gathering, leaders presented a framework built around three interconnected dimensions: the believer's relationship with Jesus, the mission of the local church, and the role of the conference in supporting and equipping congregations.

Speakers emphasized that mission begins with spiritual transformation. Through Bible study, prayer, and daily communion with Christ, members are encouraged to develop a deeper personal experience that naturally leads to sharing their faith with others.

Local churches were challenged to see themselves as welcoming communities where people searching for spiritual answers can build relationships, ask questions, study Scripture, and experience Christian fellowship. Conference leaders also highlighted their commitment to providing resources, training, and coordination to help churches participate effectively in the initiative.

From Personal Discipleship to Public Witness

Participants were encouraged to adopt a simple rhythm centered on reading, prayer, service, and witness.

Organizers invited members to rediscover the life of Christ through regular reading of The Desire of Ages by Ellen G. White, to pray intentionally for family members, friends, and neighbors, and to engage in practical acts of service that reflect Christ's love.

Presenters stressed that evangelism is often rooted in everyday relationships. Simple expressions of kindness, attentive listening, and genuine care can open doors for meaningful spiritual conversations. Resources such as printed materials, videos, and digital content may help initiate those conversations, but lasting impact comes through personal connection.

Connecting Digital Ministry With Local Churches

A significant portion of the afternoon focused on MonEspérance ("MyHope"), the Northern France Conference's online evangelism platform. The initiative provides free Bibles, spiritual content, and opportunities for individuals to connect with Adventists after searching for faith-related resources online.

Leaders reported that since January 2025, more than 8,000 people have contacted the platform and more than 5,500 Bibles have been distributed. While those numbers were seen as encouraging, presenters noted that digital outreach reaches its full potential only when local church members are prepared to engage personally with those seeking spiritual guidance.

Churches throughout Northern France are therefore being encouraged to strengthen their capacity to follow up on contacts generated within their local communities and to accompany individuals who express interest in learning more about the Christian faith.

Starting With One Person

In his message to attendees, Jean-Jack Chafograck, president of the Northern France Conference, invited members to begin with a simple and practical commitment: pray for one person and intentionally invest in that relationship.

Rather than focusing first on large-scale events, he encouraged participants to seek opportunities to reveal Christ through daily interactions and authentic friendships.

As preparations continue toward 2027, leaders expressed the conviction that the success of One Voice 27 will not be measured primarily by programs or events, but by the willingness of individual believers and local congregations to reflect the character of Jesus and accompany others on their spiritual journey.

For the Northern France Conference, the journey toward 2027 has already begun, one relationship at a time.
