Pramono Anung, Governor of DKI Jakarta, Indonesia, inaugurated the Advent Christian Church in Cililitan, East Jakarta, on October 25. During his speech, Pramono stated that the church's construction had been delayed for more than 25 years due to licensing issues.

Pramono said he began overseeing the church’s building permit (PBG) process in July 2025 after receiving reports that it had run into licensing obstacles. He then instructed his team to resolve the issues promptly.

He said permit applications that meet administrative requirements should be processed more quickly in the future to avoid delays in the construction of places of worship.

Pramono urged the Jakarta Provincial Government to be more proactive in resolving licensing issues in the future. Additionally, he reaffirmed his commitment to providing equal service to all citizens, regardless of religion, race, or ethnicity.
