Professor Therlow J. Harper, the first president of Montemorelos University, Mexico, died January 30. Harper, 76, was a native of Cuba who worked for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mexico for 35 years. During his long career, Harper also served as director of Central Adventist University.
