A new, free resource just became available for everyone interested in practical, in-depth Bible Study.

In this time of confinement due to COVID-19, the Internet has become, more than ever, a daily companion. Online, you can find just about anything you want: answers to questions, information and data, entertainment, and...God?

Among the most searched topics online is religion, and it is important that the supply of information adequately meets the demand. Theologian Chris Vogel is working on exactly that.

On his YouTube channel Masterpiece Bible, Vogel shares short (5-10-minute) videos featuring helpful tips and ideas on how to study the Bible as well as personal discoveries from his own study of the text.

Vogel holds a Ph.D. in Old Testament from Andrews University and currently works at Hope Media Europe, the media center of the Inter-European Division of Seventh-day Adventists. He has long been fascinated by the incredible beauty and depth of the biblical texts and is excited about this opportunity to share what he has discovered in and about the Bible with others.

“My goal is to get people excited about the Bible by showing them what a brilliant masterpiece this book really is,” Vogel stated. “I want to teach them how to study the Bible more deeply, and make fascinating discoveries along the way. It’s truly amazing what you can find in these ancient texts if you know how to go about it and what to look for. And the good news is that anyone can do it.”

In addition to the YouTube channel, a detailed reading guide as well as other helpful resources for Bible study is available at masterpiece.bible. In addition, the videos are also available in German on the YouTube Channel Masterpiece Bibel.
