Seventh-day Adventist Church leaders in the Northern Asia-Pacific region have established a new committee that will consider ways to reach out to people in the communist country of North Korea

Seventh-day Adventist Church leaders in the Northern Asia-Pacific region have established a new committee that will consider ways to increase the church’s presence in the communist country of North Korea.  At the committee’s first meeting on November 6, members laid the groundwork for increased Adventist Church evangelistic outreach in North Korea.  There are no firm statistics available for church membership in North Korea, but latest estimates place the figure at some 900, out of a population of 22.2 million.
