Richard H. Hart was appointed February 5 as chancellor of Loma Linda University.

Richard H. Hart was appointed February 5 as chancellor of Loma Linda University.  Currently serving as dean of the university’s School of Public Health, Hart is a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Medicine and has had extensive experience both overseas and in North America. As chancellor, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the university.

Established in 1905, Loma Linda University is a Seventh-day Adventist institution that offers more than 90 health-science programs. Its seven schools, which include medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and public health, have attracted more than 3,000 students from 80 countries.
