On March 7, a meeting for mothers of disabled children was held in the dining room of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the city of Belgorod-Dnestrovsky. The program was attended by ten people who are not members of the Adventist Church.

The organizer and presenter, Victoria Korotygina, set a goal to help mothers relax, feel joy, escape from problems, and remind them that her team thinks and cares about them and they are not alone in their difficulties—there is Someone who helps them.

Victoria, with her team and Pastor Vladimir Lukin, has already held meetings for children with disabilities in our church several times. They have been friends for more than one year. However, the program for their mothers was held for the first time.

The program included a greeting and a game of acquaintance: write your name and give yourself a description for each letter of the name. Everyone who was present took part; this is how the participants happily met.

Larisa Demina, a health instructor, conducted anti-stress gymnastics and self-massage of the neck, head, and face. Each participant received a printout with a sequence of actions to continue this exercise at home.

The poetry lottery, where everyone received a fun and practical prize, was hosted by Victoria as well as Ekaterina Katyuscheva, a photographer.

Emotions and how to manage them was an interesting and relevant topic of conversation that Victoria facilitated.

Guitar music by Galina Franchuk and tender singing touched every heart. The poem on the theme "Hug your husbands" was read by Efim Korotygin. The master class "Hairpin Crown" helped every mom remember she is the queen in the family.

Danik, a young man in a wheelchair, performed a touching chant dedicated to his mother. Danik is a constant participant in meetings and wrote this song himself.

Here are the reviews of our guests from the Osoblivi Akkermantsi group:

“We thank the organizers of today's spring event. It was very soulful, cozy, fun…"

“The contests were just great, the mood was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy, and the tea party was friendly. It would be great to get together more often, share experiences and stories with each other, charge each other with an excellent mood, and give positive emotions…"

“It was a lot of fun, and the contests are very good. Thank you all very much. May God bless your families and your homes. Thank you very much for the sea of positivity."
