On Wednesday, March 10, administrators of the Adventist Church in Paraguay visited the premises of the Supreme Court of Justice of Alto Paraná. This visit was carried out within the framework of training and missionary visits to pastors and church members in the eastern zone.

Present were Pastors Evandro Fávero, president; Juliano Almeida, treasurer; and Benjamin Belmonte, executive secretary; professor Leví Leite, manager of the department of education; and lawyer Eduardo Duarte, head of human talent management.

The group was accompanied by the president of the Alto Paraná Judicial District, lawyers Juliana Giménez, vice president of the Board of Directors, and Bertha Avalos. During their visit they received a tour of the new judicial headquarters, with the guidance of engineer Rebecca Godoy, head of the Civil Works Office.

Carrying hope

Church leaders took advantage of this timely visit to speak about the activities of their various ministries benefitting the Alto Paraná community. They held a moment of prayer with the authorities present, for their work and the projects benefiting the citizens. They were also able to share hope through a missionary book, which was given to all present.

At the end of the visit, the authorities expressed gratitude and the possibility of a future visit to carry the message of God's love in this very important institution in Alto Paraná.

“We are very grateful for this meeting,” says Fávero. “In addition to sharing words of hope and the missionary book, we talked about Enough of Silence and the upcoming Hope Impact. We pledged to revisit and share with all headquarters officials the book ‘Hope Beyond the Crisis,’ our missionary book for 2021.”

Belmonte adds: “Without a doubt, this was a pleasant opportunity to witness and leave a message of hope. We must pray for these people in authority and continue to share the message of salvation."
