When the announcement was made that due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2022 General Conference Session was being moved from Indianapolis, Indiana to St. Louis, Missouri, disappointment rippled through the Lake Union and its Indiana and Lake Region Conferences. The Lake Union, along with local conference administrators, pastors and lay members, had worked for two years preparing numerous outreach events to precede the General Conference Session. They were particularly concerned that the free medical clinic scheduled to be conducted in the Lucas Oil Stadium- Your Best Pathways to Health, the Revelation of Hope evangelistic meetings by Elder Ted N.C. Wilson, president of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and multiple other outreach events might also be canceled.
Their disappointment turned to joy when the Your Best Pathways to Health board with Elder Wilson’s encouragement voted to conduct their clinic in Indianapolis from April 17-20 with follow up Health Information Centers in Indianapolis churches. Your Best Pathways made a major impact on the city with over 4000 people receiving free medical services. Follow-up health meetings continue throughout the city.

Elder Wilson will also conduct a major evangelistic series in Indianapolis. Titled, “Revelation of Hope” it will be held in the elegant Warren Performing Arts Center beginning on Saturday, May 21 at 7:00pm and continuing nightly except Thursday through Saturday, May 28. The series will be streamed worldwide on the General Conference’s You-tube Channel and Elder Wilson’s Facebook page. Andrews University students will join the series in an evangelistic field school.

Pastors and members are eagerly preparing for the Revelation of Hope Series. They are encouraged with what God is doing in the city. Five major evangelistic meetings are in progress throughout Indianapolis. Scores of visitors are attending these meetings, and many are making decisions for Christ and His church.

Commenting on the upcoming Revelation of Hope series, Special Assistant to the President of the Adventist World Church for Evangelism Pastor Mark Finley said, “Elder Wilson’s powerful, Christ-centered, biblical messages are life changing. I would encourage every Adventist worldwide to tune in to listen to these meetings and if you are within driving distance of Indianapolis, please join us live for Revelation of Hope beginning Saturday night, May 21.”
