Eighty-seven Adventist young adults spent 15 days of their school holiday going door-to-door across the Menongue neighborhoods of Tchivonde, Pandera, Saúde, and Kalupassse, Angola. During the campaign, the volunteers conducted Bible studies and community outreach projects. The campaign closed with 31 baptisms in the waters of the Cuebe River.
The volunteers came to Angola through the Caleb Mission, an Adventist youth program in which young people give up part of their school holiday to actively participate in community outreach and evangelism.
During the campaign, 959 people received Bible studies, and 328 home visits were conducted. Volunteers prayed with 999 people, provided spiritual and emotional support to 232 residents, and gave material assistance to 195 individuals.
The baptismal service at the Cuebe River drew the campaign to a close, with songs, prayers, and testimonies accompanying the 31 candidates as they were baptized.
The new members were welcomed by the local Adventist congregation.
