Two years ago, during the pandemic, Hope Media Armenia organized an online evangelistic campaign, for which more than 100 people signed up. Twenty-five of them successfully completed online Bible school lessons and tests.

The Hope Media team personally visited the best graduates and gave each one a Bible and a player with various spiritual programs and literature.

One of the graduates was Sargis, 18 years old. He turned out to be a very good-natured, simple young man and a sincere seeker of truth. He is also a talented artist, and at the end of the meeting, he gave our evangelist, Zaven Gabrielyan, a portrait he painted himself.

Then Sargis told us he was going to be drafted soon. We thought we would never meet Sargis again; these two years of service seemed very long to us.

The years went by, and we, alas, forgot Sargis, but thank God, he didn't forget us.

Two months ago, we got a message through the Hope Media email from Sargis, saying he had returned from the army, fought a terrible 44-day war, but had always been faithful to God and His Word and now wants to be baptized.

Our evangelist was greatly excited and amazed at the unfathomable ways of God. He invited Sargis to the church to discuss baptism, and he gladly agreed. Now Sargis lovingly attends worship services every Sabbath and all the youth events and meetings.

Together with Zaven Gabrielian, the pastor of the local church, Sargis again attended Bible studies, and on December 10, he was united with our church family, making a covenant with the Lord through baptism. Praise God!

During the service, Sargis painted a picture, which he carefully kept, and on the day of his baptism, he donated it to the Shengavit Church. Below, you can see this wonderful work.

Here, indeed, this verse is appropriate: "In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand; for you do not know which will prosper, either this or that, or whether both alike will be good" (Ecclesiastes 11:6, NKJV).

Yes, we should sow words of truth every day, in all kinds of ways, and we can be sure that at the right time, in the right hearts, it will blossom and bear the fruit of faith.

Praise be to the Lord of the sowers—the nurturing Creator!
