Hello, friends! Today I have an incredible story to share with you, showing how God reaches people where they are and keeps His promises in amazing ways.

This is the story of a modern Abraham—a member of the Maasai tribe in Tanzania. Although Abraham was wealthy, owning 1,000 cows, he still felt something was missing in his life. When a series of evangelistic meetings was offered nearby, Abraham decided to attend. His heart was touched. He was baptized and became a Seventh-day Adventist. And then something incredible happened. In the following brief video, Cami Oetman, from Adventist World Radio, shares the story with us.

What an incredible story! Friends, we can never outgive the Lord! The Bible is clear. We read in Malachi 3:10, “’Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.’” (NKJV)
Friends, are you faithful in returning a faithful tithe to the Lord? Just as he blessed this modern Abraham, God is willing and able to pour out His abundant blessings upon you!

And yet there is even more. God not only longs to bless us through a return of a faithful tithe—He also invites us to experience His amazing love by giving generous offerings to support His work around the world. It is through the faithful giving of offerings that God’s mission is fueled in our home territory, and around the world!

This Sabbath, March 13, is the AWR Annual Offering, a time when we have a special opportunity to support the wonderful work that Adventist World Radio is doing, broadcasting God’s messages into homes and hearts in some of the most difficult to reach places on Earth. For more information on how to give and to hear more inspiring stories, I invite you to visit awr.org/offering.

Let’s remember that God has placed in our hands the amazing, wonderful opportunity of participating in reaching the world for Him by returning a faithful tithe and giving generous offerings. He is waiting to pour out His blessings upon you today.

Let’s pray together. Father in heaven, thank you for the blessings you provide to each of us. Thank you for the abundance of heaven that will be opened with unbelievable pouring out of blessings more than we could ever receive as we acknowledge you as our Lord and Savior and faithfully return our tithe and give free will offerings. Lord, bless your people around the world, some in challenging situations, others in more prosperous situations, but everyone can return their 10% tithes to you. What a beautiful system, helping us to know you are the Lord of our lives. Thank you for the promises you give, we accept them, we believe them, give us the power to carry them out. In Jesus' name we ask it, amen.
