As a result of the tragic war at the end of 2020 and the surging pandemic, the people of Armenia have suffered greatly. ADRA always responds to the needs of the community by helping people in need, and more than 10,000 people were helped. Adventist Youth from all over Armenia helped, by volunteering for these assistance projects.
“The project is difficult,” participants share. “We carry heavy things, but helping others lightens the burden.”
The Adventist Church of Stepanavan is always ready to lend a helping hand and serve others, and through this ministry, they show God's love to others.
The year began with various social and festive projects. The first project was organized by local organizations with the help of ADRA Armenia and benefited an orphanage. The next project was sewing masks for the residents of the city, which were given away paired with the book "Steps to Christ." A small canteen was also opened for people in need of food.
In early February, together with ADRA Armenia, the Stepanavan Church took part in helping the families of those wounded or killed in Artsakh. The youth of the church gladly provided assistance to the affected people in the cities of Stepanavan and Tashir, and in neighboring villages. They continue to actively participate in all projects for the glory of God.
ADRA provided assistance in the form of food and household packages in the city of Yerevan, in the Shengavit region, assisting 100 local families. The youth of the church also took an active part in this good deed.
