The Family Togetherness Week of Prayer took place across the conferences under the Korean Union Conference (KUC) in September 2025, bringing families together through worship, testimony, and Bible engagement.

Children’s and Family Ministries department of the East-Central Korean Conference (ECKC) hosted the Family Togetherness Weekunder the theme “Happy Christian Home.”

At the Family Faith Restoration Testimony Meeting, Ina Huh, the pastor’s wife serving at Bongpyeong Church, shared her journey of overcoming family challenges through faith. She shared that God’s power heals broken relationships.

One participant confessed, “I repented of my former faith and decided to take hold of the Lord from the ground up.”

ECKC also conducted the Bible Three-Read Academy, which introduced the MBF (Method-Based Framework) and trained families to read Scripture in three perspectives: as a third-person observer, in the first-person as a biblical character, and in the second-person as God speaking directly.

Ninety-two families registered and participated, and one parent testified, “The Bible 3 Reads Academy made the Bible seem like the story of my life.”

The South-East Korean Conference (SEKC) organized a four-day online program, utilizing the Family Togetherness Week of Prayer resources translated and distributed by the Korean Union Conference. Families applied MBF and other worship materials in their daily gatherings, which created a sense of unity throughout the conference.

The South-West Korean Conference (SWKC) held a three-week online camp, during which 84 children enrolled and 72 completed the program. Families held daily worship and memorized Scripture, and children learned the passage from Matthew 7:7-14.

One parent reflected, “It is truly beautiful and touching to see the children worshiping God and memorizing Scripture.”

Although the formats varied, all three conferences pursued the same goal: to renew worship in the home and strengthen family faith.

Leaders say that the Family Togetherness Week of Prayer clearly demonstrated that when parents take even small steps of faith, they profoundly shape their children’s spirituality, and when families depend on God, He brings healing and restoration.
