England: Adventist college appoints new principal

Political Science professor Dr. Jane Sabes was appointed principal of Seventh-day Adventist-owned Newbold College in a May 11 vote by the college’s board. Sabes, a professor at Adventist-owned Andrews University since 1999, has focused her teaching career on public policy and issues surrounding religion and politics, including genocide and human rights. Sabes previously served as advisor to the governor of the U.S. state of Wyoming and directed its Department of Health. Her international work has included experience in Libya, China and Indonesia.
