The 1000 Missionary Movement (1000MM) Training Center in the Philippines hosted the 15th Children’s Missionary Movement (CCM) from January 15 to 27, 2025, under the leadership of the Children’s Ministries of the Korean Union Conference (KUC). Seventy-one participants joined this movement, including children missionaries, pastors, and teachers from four local conferences under the KUC.

Before being dispatched to the mission fields, the children missionaries underwent intensive training at the Training Center from early morning to late at night. The training included Bible study, praise and worship, language training, listening skills, and home visit training.

The 62nd batch of 1000MM missionaries, who had completed a year of mission service, directly trained the children, passing on their passion for mission work.

A particularly valuable experience was engaging in morning exercises and running with the 64th batch of current 1000MM trainees, fostering a strong missionary spirit together.

Following a commissioning ceremony on January 22, the participants engaged in mission activities from 22 to 25 in San Pedro.

Each conference was assigned to a different church, with the East Central Korean Conference serving at Chrysanthemum Church, the West Central Korean Conference at San Pedro Church, the Central Korean Conference at Villarosa Church, and the Southwest Korean Conference at Pacita Church. The missionaries actively participated in evangelistic meetings for children, relief efforts, and home visitations, enhancing their missionary skills through hands-on experience.

On January 25, all churches in the San Pedro region gathered for a communion service.

The CMM missionaries led the Sabbath School program, sharing their missionary testimonies, special music, biblical drama, and Bible storytelling, demonstrating their growth as missionaries. In a heartfelt gesture, the churches in the San Pedro region presented appreciation plaques to each CMM missionary, expressing deep gratitude for their service. Additionally, the KUC awarded certificates and badges to the 15th CMM participants, reaffirming their missionary commitment.

CMM is a vital step in a long-term initiative to nurture children and youth as lifelong missionaries. This initiative provides children with unforgettable experiences in Jesus and serves as a lifelong spiritual foundation.

This year, over 10 children participated for the second time. Additionally, the number of 1000MM missionaries who previously joined CMM is increasing.
