The Caleb Mission project was recently implemented in two realms: Caleb Alpha, in each mission field, and Caleb Omega, in northeastern Peru. Before, during, and after each event, Adventist youth challenged each other to perform missionary actions.

Solidarity actions such as the 5K race that promoted a healthy lifestyle, street cleaning, and blood donation comprised the voluntary work of the young people. However, the main activity and objective of the week was the Caleb evangelism centers, where hundreds of people attended to learn the Word of God.

Houses, sports fields, and local venues were decorated as churches to welcome thousands of people, who enjoyed special programs according to their age group. The young people worked in Caleb teams, made up of five people: the evangelist, the stakeholder coordinator, the children's evangelism coordinator, the program coordinator, and the person in charge of solidarity actions.

The Caleb centers, night after night, were full of people as a result of the missionary visits, which took place during the morning and afternoon. They set aside a special time to evangelize and witness through their personal testimonies. The attendees welcomed each Adventist young person either at home, work, or other places to study the Bible.

Caleb Mission Caravan

Pastor Pako Mokgwane, associate director of Youth Ministries for General Conference, and Pastor Carlos Campitelli, Youth Ministries director for the South American Division, joined the Caleb Mission campaign to preach the message of salvation. The caravan toured the cities of Tarapoto, Banda de Shilcayo, and Moyobamba.

They witnessed the great mobilization and impact of the Adventist youth missionaries in northeastern Peruvian. As a result, more than 6,000 people were touched by the Holy Spirit and surrendered their lives to Christ through baptism. "Jesus says, ‘Who will go?’ and you must say, ‘I will go!’ We are missionaries for Christ," commented Pastor Mokgwane.

Pastor Campitelli also highlighted the work done, where the Calebs lived an integral experience of service, mission, and love. "May God continue to use them. They are unstoppable, with the strength and joy they reflect. Continue telling others that Jesus is returning; continue leaving footprints," he emphasized.
