The intriguingly named “Back to the Future” evangelistic series was held in Vyazemsky, Khabarovsk, Russia. The goal of the program was to reveal the future to people through the ancient biblical prophecies of Revelation.

The host of the program was Eduard A. Simenyuk, pastor-evangelist and executive secretary of the Caucasus Union Mission of Seventh-day Adventists.

Thanks to broadcasts on WhatsApp and Zoom platforms, viewers from different regions of the Far East and all over Russia joined the program. In total, more than 70 people were able to watch the program; more than 20 of them were not members of the Adventist Church. These meetings were preceded by the “Breathe Freely” program for those who want to quit smoking, but interest in that was more modest.

Among those baptized was a young girl who became disabled after attempting suicide. Arriving at church, she found the meaning of life. Tears of happiness were on her face and the faces of everyone who was in the hall.

The program was remembered for its interesting presentation of topics, good weather, good communication over a cup of tea after the program, and most importantly, the active involvement of the entire church in the ministry. For the church, this time became a real holiday. A special thanks goes to the Lord and the people who participated in this initiative.
