Four Australian men on Sea Doo jet skis pulled into Sydney Harbor on December 11
Four Australian men on Sea Doo jet skis pulled into Sydney Harbor on December 11 after a three and one-half month navigation around the continent of Australia. The OZ Trek 2000 riders successfully completed this world record attempt, which began on August 20, by traveling some 10,000 miles on the watercraft, facing harsh sun, monster waves, encounters with crocodiles, sharks and mosquitoes.
The four men are Paul Fua, Lyndon Parmenter, Randall Jones, and Brad Fraser, a cancer sufferer in remission, all watercraft enthusiasts with a passion for helping others. The venture aimed to raise $2.5 million Australian dollars ($1.35 million US dollars) for Sydney Adventist Hospital’s Cancer and Extended Care Campaign.
