Time is passing quickly, and May, the last full month of spring, has come to an end. Every day, everyone hears different news, most of which is disappointing and sad. However, in the midst of this pain and anxiety, there is good news that God continues to work in people's lives and turn them to the path of salvation. The preaching of the Gospel continues, and people open their hearts to God.
In Ponornytsia, Chernihiv, Ukraine, an evangelistic program "Faith, Hope, Love" was held by Pastor Pavlo Stepashko. As a result, two people were baptized on April 11.
Evangelistic meetings were held in the Chernihiv cities of Nizhyn and Bobrovytsia, and two people were baptized on April 22.
On April 29, in the village of Budyshche, the local congregation welcomed a newly baptized sister who entered into a covenant with God.
The community of Chernihiv-1 held Gospel meetings, after which seven people entered into a covenant with God on April 30.
In Nova Odesa, Mykolaiv, two people were baptized on May 6 after completing Bible courses led by Pastor Oleg Batrachenko.
On May 7, in Chernihiv-2, three sisters were baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
A special celebration of water baptism was held in Shostka, Sumy, where six people entered into a covenant with God on May 19 in a pool rented by the community. Two of them are from Shostka, and four are from Hlukhiv. Their conversion is the result of the work of the Holy Spirit and the efforts of the ministers through the study of Bible lessons. Pastor Maksym Lazarev had the special privilege and joy of baptizing his own mother and congratulating her on her new birth.
On May 20, in Vyzhnytsia, Chernivtsi, a young man named Vadim made a covenant with God in the Cheremosh River.
Also on May 20, water baptism took place in Lutsk. Two people, Liudmyla and Anton, responded to the call to follow Jesus. These days, the Europe for Christ project is hosting the True Hope evangelistic program. Speakers Eddie and Monique Perez, from California, USA, came to serve the Ukrainian people despite the difficult times for the invaded nation. The program also included a block of prayer for peace and victory for Ukraine. The program lasted until May 27, and many people had the opportunity to hear the truth and choose the right direction in life—true hope in Jesus Christ.
